Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. The Extended Warranty

I. Novita SG Pte Ltd ("novita") provides the extended warranty coverage for the product(s) only upon the receipt of the extended warranty purchase order and premium payment. System will be updated with the extended warranty information within 14 days upon the receipt of the submission.

II. The extended warranty service provides the coverage for the repair of the product listed on the purchase order form only for a further period commencing on the expiry of the standard 1 year warranty period and ending on the extended warranty expiry date in accordance to the extended warranty period.

III. Extended warranty premium is not refundable in any circumstances.

IV. novita e-Voucher is not applicable in conjunction with any extended warranty purchase.

V. novita reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the extended warranty at any point of time deemed necessary.

VI. novita reserves all rights to impose charges for services on Products which are outside the perimeter of warranty coverage. novita also reserve the right to decline Product servicing where the Product is obsolete, no longer deemed serviceable or replaceable for any reason.

VII. If any section, provision, clause, sentence or part thereof of this warranty is held to be void, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified necessarily to make it valid and enforceable, and it shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.

VIII. novita shall reserve the right to modify or change the terms and conditions herein due to change(s) in availability of Products and/or spare parts or for the purposes of complying with applicable policies, rules, regulations and law, without prior notice.

IX. Proceeding with Product usage, it means the purchaser/user have read, understood and agreed on the novita’s warranty terms and conditions and also acknowledges that novita’s limitations of liability are reasonable and within the context and circumstances under which it is applied on.

2. Coverage

I. The extended warranty is only applicable if all of the following conditions are met..

      • The product is purchased from novita eStore, selected retail partners and participating outlets.
      • The product is assembled and used in Singapore or stated countries only.
      • The warranty holder has submitted the standard 1-year e-Warranty application via novita.com.sg/warranty.
      • The warranty holder has paid for the extended warranty premium.

II. The products and all parts (inclusive of filters) thereof are hereby guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects. Please retain the original purchase receipt for verification purposes when required.

III. Any application under this extended warranty is applicable to repair or replacement of all parts (excluding replaceable filters), which proves to be defective within the warranty period commencing from expiry date of the standard warranty term.

IV. Onsite warranty service is provided during normal business hours, excluding holidays, and can be performed either by novita or appointed novita service provider.

A service-transportation charge of S$30/trip will be levied if the unit malfunction & breakdown are not resulted by standard product usage; and are caused by the following conditions stated under clause 3.

V. In the event that the product is out of stock, obsolete or beyond repair, novita reserves all rights to replace the product with another similar value as deemed appropriate subject to availability.

3.  Exclusion of Coverage

I. Imperfect finishing including defects of paintwork that does not materially impair the function of the product.

II. Products with removed, erased, defaced, altered, tampered or is illegible serial numbers are not covered.

III. Warranty coverage does not extend to damages and/or defects resulting from:

      • Accidents, abuse, misuse, improper installation, or any manner of tampering.
      • Usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage.
      • Usage not in accordance with the operation instructions manual.
      • Any unauthorized repairs.
      • Any alteration or modification made to the Product.
      • Normal usage wear and tear, finishes or consumables.
      • Corrosion, rusting or stains.
      • Improper transportation, inappropriate storage conditions or materials, improper ventilation, reconfiguration of the Product.
      • Losses, damages, defects and malfunctions caused by fire or acts of God.

IV. This warranty does not apply/cover for:

      • Parts requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear, corrosion or stain.
      • Damage due to other equipment/solutions/accessories being used in conjunction with the covered Product.
      • Transportation, delivery and incidental cost incurred in fulfilment of this warranty. The purchaser/user shall be fully responsible for the due delivery of the Product for any repair work to novita and for the subsequent collection. Any Product to be repaired must be sent to the service centre directly. No outdoor servicing will be provided. novita can provide collection and return service and a transportation fee of S$24 is applicable.

4. Liability

I. To the fullest extent permitted by law, novita shall not be in any way liable for any consequential, incidental, direct, indirect damages whatsoever arising from or in connection with the use, inability to use or performance of the Product, including without limitation loss of reputation, failure to realise savings or other benefits, loss of use of the Product, loss of/or damage to other property due to the malfunction of the Product, costs of substitute equipment, loss due to downtime cost, costs of recovering. novita does not exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death.

II. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the purchaser/user assumes all risk and liability for loss, damage or injury to the purchaser/user and their property and to any third parties and their property arising out of the use, misuse or inability to use the novita Product.

III. In the event that the Product is out of stock, obsolete or beyond repair, novita reserves all rights to replace the Product with another similar value as deem appropriate, subject to availability. In no event shall any recovery against novita exceed the actual price paid for the purchase of the Product.

5. Personal Data Protection

I. The warranty holder understands and agrees that the warranty holder's personal data may be collected, used and/or disclosed in accordance with novita’s privacy policy.

II. Please be assured novita does not share your information with third parties.
