AIR, THE SUBSTANCE OF LIFE

Everyone should be concerned about the air around us since air pollutants can cause a variety of health problems and are especially harmful to young children, old folks and those with pre-existing respiratory conditions. The importance of air quality is obvious since we take in approximately 26,000 breaths, which is equivalent to about 800 oxygen tanks every day.

DO YOU KNOW?

A single sneeze can produce up to 40,000 respiratory secretion droplets. Within these secretion droplets, it may contain high volumes of infectious viruses/bacteria. Though insignificant in size, these viruses and bacteria are ever ready to infect.

EXAMPLE

INFLUENZA

It is a highly contagious respiratory disease that can affect any individual. Commonly transmitted from person to person via respiratory droplets.

TYPES OF INFLUENZA VIRUSES?

The three main types of viruses are Type A, Type B and Type C.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?

High Fever . Sore Throat . Coughing . Headache . Muscle Aches . Stuffy Nose . Fatigue

Persistent high fever from 38°C to 41°C, severe headaches and extreme exhaustion are common symptom for flu.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND ACF1 TECHNOLOGY

COMBINED EFFECTS OF THE 4 CAPTURE MECHANISMS

• INTERCEPTION • INERTIAL IMPACTION • DIFFUSION • ELECTROSTATIC

novita Electrostatic Filter ACF1 captured the airborne allergens and germs mechanically via the follow 4 mechanisms.

01

INTERCEPTION

When a particle (≥0.4 μm) follows the air streamline and makes a physical contact onto the media fibre.

02

INERTIAL IMPACTION

When a heavy particle (≥0.4 μm) cannot adjust to the abrupt changes in the air stream direction near the fibre, and due to the inertia, the particle continues along the original path and contacts the fibre.

03

DIFFUSION

Effective for small particles (<0.1 μm), whereby it makes a random Brownian motion and collide with the fibres.

04

ELECTROSTATIC

The electrically charged fibres in the filter media attracts and adsorb the oppositely charged particles from the airstream to significantly improves the particle collection effect.

HIGH EFFICIENCY ELECTROSTATIC FILTER MATERIAL

99.6% PM2.5 AND 95% OF PM0.3 PARTICLES REMOVAL EFFICIENCY

Note: The PM 2.5 Particles Removal Efficiency was conducted based on the reduction of particles count at Singapore Accredited Laboratory using TSL DustTrak II Aerosol Monitor, for an exposure duration of 2 minutes with novita Electrostatic Filter placed inside an enclosed 0.17 m3 chamber.

99.99% BACTERIAL REMOVAL EFFICIENCY

Note: The Bacterial Removal Efficiency was conducted based on the reduction of Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 count at Singapore Accredited Laboratory using SKC Air Sampler, for an exposure duration of 1 min with novita Electrostatic Filter placed inside an enclosed 0.17 m3 chamber.

Note: The PM2.5 and Bacterial Removal Efficiency Tests are conducted by Singapore Accredited Laboratory, in specific condition for testing analysis and measurement purposes. Actual results based on 70% installation coverage may be lower and the efficiency may vary, subjected to environment and usage condition.

HOW TO DIY INSTALL

RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION COVERAGE OF 70%

Filter Replacement Every 2 Months

Remove and clean the air conditioner plastic mesh screens.

Clean the air conditioner plastic mesh screens and dry it thoroughly.

Trim the filters to cover about 70% of the air conditioner plastic mesh screens. Place it onto the centre of the air conditioner plastic mesh screens.

Use the adhesive tapes to secure the 4 corners of the filters onto the air conditioner plastic mesh screens.

Install the plastic mesh screens with filters back into the air conditioner. Indicate the date of replacement on the filter replacement sticker as a reminder.

AUTO MODE

For your convenience and ease of use, the air purifier will detect the surrounding air quality and select the most suitable operating modes for you!

Turbo Mode

Powerful and exceeding competent, the high air flow rate of up to 600 m3/hr is definitely capable for purifying a large room size, up to 60 m2.
